Biography

    My name is Lanesia Johnson, and I am a certified nurse aide/Patient tech at Northwest Texas Healthcare in Amarillo, TX. I work on the Acute Rehab unit, but at times I work on the med-surg floor helping with stroke patients. I love going back and forth between the 2 floors because I learn something new all the time.  I have been playing the role of a certified nurse aide for 25 years, but I have only been certified for 3 to 4 years. I have experience in providing care for patients 18 and up, and I enjoy every bit of it. I graduated high school in 2007, and I started my bachelor's in business in 2018 at Walden University, where I will finish in the next 2 weeks. I am a mother of 2 boys and 2 girls. When I am off, I love spending time with family and watching my granddaughter.  I also love traveling seeing new faces and new places. Once I am done with school I am thinking about keeping my certified nursing aide license active but change careers and work at an office.
